Flipping a house called for a whole new climate control system

There is an art and a science to flipping houses. Basically how the process works is like this: I find local auctions for homes and property. I check out the house for sale and if it looks like a project my team and I can handle, I buy it as cheaply as possible. Then my team and I spend a couple of weeks fixing it up, repainting it, and making it look great. After that it goes on the market, and if everything works according to plan, I sell it for a huge profit. That is the best case scenario, but usually there are pitfalls along the way. For example, I always make sure to check out the central HVAC system in any house I want to buy. I have a woman on my team who is HVAC certified, so we can fix up a system that is in disrepair. However, if the central HVAC system is so old it needs to be entirely replaced, then I do not buy that house. Jenny is amazing with fixing ductwork and HVAC components but a project as large as a total system replacement requires a full team of skilled pros. I have to be practical with the houses I flip, because time is of the essence. I know for a fact that a brand new HVAC system can raise the asking price of a house by twenty thousand dollars or more. On the other hand, if I have to hire additional HVAC techs and spend a week installing the system, it offsets that potential profit.
