For Christmas for my dad this year, I’ve decided that I’m going to my shopping at the HVAC store here in town.
My dad is not a guy who likes gift cards for movies or restaurants or anything like that. He also doesn’t like for someone else to pick out shoes or clothes or watches for him. The man already owns every tool known to mankind, and he buys little gadgets all year long so it’s impossible to find one for him that he doesn’t already have. And so this year, I’ve decided that I’m going to go shopping at our local HVAC company store. They have a lot of different heating and cooling systems and other HVAC items on display there in their front office area, and I think that I will be able to find something there that my dad will love. He’s always complaining about his heating and cooling bills, and so I’m wondering if I can’t find something to help him make his HVAC system more efficient. I thought about paying to have his ductwork and air vents in the house cleaned out, since that can help with air flow which will directly affect the amount of money you have to pay for your heating and cooling bills. The other thing I thought that he would probably like is for me to pay for him to have a year long HVAC maintenance and repair service. That way, he wouldn’t have to worry about his furnace or central air conditioning system all year long! I think he would love that.
