I was honestly blissful when my aunt offered her property to me plus my fiance as our ceremony location… I am not terribly close to my aunt but I do follow her on social media plus she has the most lovely garden.
- Her whole yard is nothing but a huge, amazing garden, and my fiance plus I took the 2 hour drive to her household to check it out plus make sure it would work great for the ceremony.
The first thing we noticed is that there was not a great deal of parking on her street although she does have a 3 car garage. I figured we could stack cars in plus maybe save a bit of space. That’s when my aunt said that nobody could park in the garage because it is full of plants… We went inside plus sure enough, the entire garage was a massive greenhouse. It is packed with orchids plus carnivorous plants. It is also really overheated plus humid in the garage. That is because she has UV lighting, humidifiers, plus climate control all set up for the plants. The garage even has its own Heating plus A/C device without the household. It was amazing to see that the plants have their own thermostat plus humidistat however it does make sense. The household itself also had an excellent Heating plus A/C device with zone control. I like that we can chill the kitchen down to 50 degrees to keep the cake perfectly fresh. All of us decided to go ahead plus have the ceremony at my aunt’s household. We will just have to park off site plus bus everyone in however it will easily be worth it.
