Getting healthy has not been an easy process for me.
I don’t know if I’m just genetically lazy or what the problem is exactly.
But it’s taken me more than a year to get to where I thought I’d get in months. I guess that’s what you get for putting off health and wellness until 50. I spent pretty much my whole adult life just soaking up the air conditioning from my recliner. And it that wasn’t bad enough, I mixed in all the processed food and cold beer as I could reasonably get away with. The results of that sort of life are pretty much exactly what you would expect. But, when the pandemic hit and I was no longer going to the zone controlled HVAC comfort of the office each day, I had a change of heart. It just seemed like there was no better time in the world than right then to commit to health. Since we were stuck inside the air conditioning of the house, we were less tempted and more likely to stick with the program. We even chose to make the air we breathe at home that much more healthy. It was easy too. We vastly improved the indoor air quality of our home with a simply HVAC air filter change. That’s all it took to breathe so much easier while also improving our immune health as well. The new air filter is a HEPA filter and is designed with our health in mind and not just the HVAC unit. The HEPA filter actually traps and removes more than 99 percent of all airborne contaminants. Two years later, I’m 40 pounds lighter and whole lot healthier.
