I thought that was pretty neat
My neighbor is preparing for the end of the world! He is always talking about prepping for it. He says that someday, we will all wish that we had prepared ourselves for the end times. To me, that’s pretty funny actually, however there is no way to prepare yourself for what you don’t know is coming. Or if it is even coming; But whatever, but we all have eccentricities. I guess that prepping just happens to be Gary’s eccentricity. Gary purchased some land awhile back plus has been having an underground bunker constructed on the land. It is finally finished now and so he asked me if I wanted to see it. I did. He insisted that I wear a blindfold over my eyes though because he doesn’t want me to know where the bunker is. I thought it was funny but I tried not to laugh at him. After all, don’t the construction people know where the bunker is? Anyway, once the two of us arrived, I realized that Gary had put a lot of money into this project. He had a storage locker buried on the land. But you would never know it by looking at it though; Most impressive to me was the fact that the bunker has air conditioner plus heating. He got a ductless mini split plan installed down in the bunker. The whole thing runs on solar power. Gary explained that the ductless mini split plan works a little bit differently than traditional heating plus air, however ductless mini split systems use about half as much electricity as others too. I thought that was pretty neat. I guess if the world ever does end I would want to hang out in a bunker like that one. It’s a good thing that I could see under the blind fold!
