I’m an admirer of technology but not an actual, full on disciple.
I came to it at my own pace. When I was in school, floppy disk storage was the new thing. That puts the pin in where I fall on the tech timeline. However, I adapted because I had to. By my early 20’s, the computer was fairly ubiquitous throughout our business. I l gained those systems but didn’t invest in a new home computer until I was care about 30. Now, tech is everywhere in my life. Tech certainly manages the Heating & Air Conditioning use in my home. That’s quite a loop for someone who had a flip PC up until a few years ago. I appreciate the Heating & Air Conditioning smart thermostat. It does a magnificent job of precisely managing the kilowatt hours used by the Heating & Air Conditioning system. Many of my friends had been raving about everything the smart thermostat could do. However, most of those people were sold on the method because it came with an app for their PC. I’m not sure most of those people could even tell you how much they saved on Heating & Air Conditioning energy use that very first month. It was just another cool gimmick to possess. And that’s fine. But, I am cheerful to report that I saved nearly 15 percent on the utility bill that very first month after installing the smart thermostat. I’m also intrigued by the versatility. Both of us are saving up to purchase automatic shades. These sun shades will sync to the smart thermostat. The smart thermostat can then deplot the shades as the direct sun starts heating the inside ambient air. Yea, I’m liking this type of tech.
