A totally different sign that these Heating & A/C filters need to be updated is if I start to notice my little ones sneezing more than usual
I can almost always tell when my Heating & A/C filters need to be updated, but it is usually about every two to three months, then replacing my Heating & A/C filters has become an easy task as I have done it many times in the past, however while my husband was not away on work trips, I would find myself having him do all of the service tasks in and around the home, however but, when he was away, it was up to myself and others to learn how to do all of the service tasks. I am usually able to tell that my Heating & A/C filters need replacing by the duration of time the a/c component stays on during the day. If the system comes on for a short amount of time and turns off for the same amount of time, that usually means that the Heating & A/C system is filtering well and correctly cooling the house. If the Heating & A/C system stays on for a long time and then comes back on shortly after that, that usually means that something is not right. Anyways, this is not consistently the case, but this is usually true during the Summer months when the uneven temperatures rise to higher than usual. A totally different sign that these Heating & A/C filters need to be updated is if I start to notice my little ones sneezing more than usual. This is not consistently a sign of a dirty Heating & A/C filter, but it is often a sign of it, then my kids are sensitive to allergens and dust, so when the Heating & A/C filter starts to gather more dust than usual, their pollen irritations kick it and they sneeze and cough a lot more than they tend to.
