I would have to be the first one to admit that I spoil my dog. I probably spoil the dog even more than I spoil my kids. I know a lot of people don’t really get it, but my dog loves me with an unconditional love that I’ve never gotten anywhere else. Anyway, I’ve recently been fighting with my son about the fact that I want to install a heating and air conditioning system in the doghouse in the backyard. I just can’t help but worry about my little fluffy baby when the weather is too hot outside. I think he needs to have his very own little A/C system installed in his doghouse so he won’t get too hot. He doesn’t like it when the temperature outside gets to be over 75 degrees or so, and so I know that he will greatly enjoy having his own air conditioning. My son says that I am a complete nutjob for even thinking about installing a heating and cooling system out there especially for my dog. He even intimated that I love the dog more than I love him! When he said that, I just looked at him and told him that my dog never yells at me about HVAC concerns. He didn’t like that very much, either. Anyway, even though it might be spoiling my dog, I’m still going to push ahead and have my local HVAC company come and install the A/C unit in the doghouse. I guess my son probably thinks that I’m spending his inheritance or something. At least I still haven’t told him about the dog sized gas logs and the fireplace I’m thinking of installing in the doghouse next!
