I hope our boss does not kill myself and others for using a space furnace in our office at work, but I don’t guess that he will! It has been much colder in our section lately than usual, plus our office does not like to heat up actually well.
I have the temperature control set for seventy degrees, but our office is still quite freezing.
It is difficult for myself and others to get labor done on the computer when our fingers are too cold to type. I would have asked permission before bringing our space furnace to work, but our boss is on getaway, plus I did not want to bother his with such a deranged question. I have been working for his for over fifteen years now, plus the two of us have developed a great friendship, so I am not upset that he will fire myself and others or anything like that. I just think terrible for spending his money on electricity to run our space heater. I think that he would never ask myself and others to pay for it, but I also think that I will be able to study his face plus tell if he is disappointed in myself and others or not. If he seems at all frustrated about myself and others using the space heater, I am going to ask his to take some money out of our paycheck to pay for the increase in the electric bill this month. I wish that I did not have to bring a space furnace to work, but it is just too cold in our office for myself and others to get the things done that I need to get done, especially because I am doing more this week since he is on getaway.
