I will write for another 45 minutes and after that I have 35 more minutes of work to do online before I can go for a run. Yesterday I missed my freezing water dip because I went early in the afternoon on the beach to play volleyball. It is okay though because I have gone in the freezing water every afternoon this year and missing one afternoon is not a giant deal. I will take a freezing dip this week in the early afternoon to soothe my knees and help with the pain from all of the ball last week. Heating and Air Conditioning service and service will be on the slate tomorrow so I need to get my knees better so I can carry the geothermal heat pump up the stairs in the day. My knees are doing pretty well considering how much I played, but I didn’t win too many games because I’ve been playing tentatively due to the pain. The heating corp is open this week and I’m sure I will go there and rest and talk with the cooling reps while icing my knees in a chair. I can hang out there most of the afternoon and avoid the beach, where I am sure there will be some nets and players beckoning me to come play. The heating corporation shop is my safe haven to save my knees and lower back, so I will hang out there in the air conditioner and chill out with the Heating and Air Conditioning workers while they do their thing and help clients with their units and questions.
