When I called the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation about my poorly working oil furnace, they sent an Heating & Air Conditioning dealer to the house; Even before he looked at my oil furnace, he was talking about purchasing a current oil furnace.
He said my oil furnace was almost twenty years seasoned & concerns would just keep multiplying.
It was the Christmas season, & I didn’t want to put out a lot of money for a oil furnace that may or may not be repaired. I wanted him to at least look at the oil furnace before telling myself and others I had to buy a current a single. I didn’t want a current oil furnace; I just wanted this a single repaired. He seemed to be adamant about my choosing a current oil furnace, & I got miserable. I asked him what kind of bonus he got if he sold myself and others a current oil furnace right now, & not in the current year. He said they didn’t offer bonuses for upselling. He got a bonus, knowing I would have better air & stay sizzling while in the winter. I scoffed & rolled my eyeah, then told him he should do his job & check the oil furnace. After he did a thorough inspection & still thought I needed a current oil furnace, I would consider it, although I was also going to ask for another opinion. When he came back upstairs, he looked sheepish. He apologized for the hard sell & said he could maintenance the oil furnace, although I had to consider a current oil furnace before the next winter. I was okay with this idea, although I wasn’t with him coming into my home & deciding I needed a current oil furnace just because of when the seasoned a single was installed.
