When I called the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation about my poorly working furnace, they sent an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman to the house.
Even before he looked at my furnace, he was talking about purchasing a new furnace.
He said my furnace was almost twenty years aged plus problems would just keep multiplying. It was the Christmas season, plus I didn’t want to put out a lot of cash for a furnace that may or may not be repaired. I wanted him to at least look at the furnace before telling myself and others I had to buy a new 1. I didn’t want a new furnace; I just wanted this 1 repaired. He seemed to be adamant about my choosing a new furnace, plus I got angry. I asked him what kind of bonus he got if he sold myself and others a new furnace right now, plus not in the new year. He said they didn’t offer bonuses for upselling. He got a bonus, knowing I would have better air plus stay moderate during the winter. I scoffed plus rolled my eyes, then told him he should do his task plus check the furnace. After he did a thorough inspection plus still thought I needed a new furnace, I would consider it, even though I was also going to ask for another opinion. When he came back upstairs, he looked sheepish. He apologized for the hard sell plus said he could fix the furnace, even though I had to consider a new furnace before the next winter. I was okay with this idea, even though I wasn’t with him coming into my house plus deciding I needed a new furnace just because of when the aged 1 was installed.
