I don’t guess there is anyone I have ever met in the south without proper a/c.
The issue with the heat is that it is so overheated year round, a lot of people constantly have the air conditioning running; Because of this, almost all the people focuses on their central heating & cooling components.
Every loft that I have been to has constantly been nicely air conditioned. In fact, the only loft that I have ever visited without proper heating & air conditioning was more in the west, and anyways, I am usually pretty good at remembering to take care of our heating & air conditioning machine, however, I have forgotten periodically; Usually when I forget, it doesn’t take myself and others too long to remember, because our cooling unit will start making a unusual noise. It’s a noise I can’t exactly describe, however I guess exactly what it means, it means the a/c filter it plugged. I used the best of the best HEPA air filters, & instead of using disposable air filters, these filters are absolutely washable filters. That means instead of spending more money & adding waste to the earth, I can just keep reusing our outdated filters. It has worked absolutely well for me, & I have been using the same air filters for numerous years. A few weeks ago our heating & cooling unit was starting to make that unusual noise again, & sure enough, the air filter was incredibly dirty! After a nice wash & cleaning, it was brand new, then once I put it back inside the air conditioning unit, it worked just savor usual.
