My child from a young age was always a really smart girl, and too smart for her own darn good, however nowadays she is top of her class and a valedictorian! But even before all of those accomplishments, she still did incredibly smart and surprising things, when she was only 6 years old, she figured out how to labor the thermostat. She would drag over one of her giant toys and sit on it to reach the thermostat. She would then drop the temperatures incredibly low or turn them up incredibly high. The lowest she dropped was 55 degrees! Absolutely crazy! The hottest was 95 degrees! The first time I found this out, she was in trouble. So enjoy all sneaky kids, she l received and began to change the temperature while I wasn’t home. Why she was so obsessed with the thermostat was beyond me, although she would change the temperature back to it’s normal temperature before I got home, and i started getting silly high energy bills and I was baffled! I always kept the cooling system at a perfect 74 degrees in the home, and managed to keep my energy bill fairly low because of it. Now suddenly my bill has jumped by almost $200! It wasn’t until I arrived beach house early one afternoon did I come into contact with my desert enjoy home. I checked the temperature and saw it was 90 degrees! I instantly knew what she was up to at this point, and she got into even deeper trouble, and eventually, I installed a child lock on the thermostat, and I wonder how long it will take her to figure it out.
