I Fixed My Dry Air Issue By Doing This

So when I was younger I did live downtown for a few years.

And I lived right smack dab in the middle of all the action. And sure enough the place was tiny! I got used to it because that after all was what I asked for, what I really wanted was the location after all. Now, I bet you would think because my unit was so small, with small and very few windows and low ceilings and only 2 rooms, that when I would need to heat or cool the place, it would happen lickety-split. Well, you would be right! In the summer I would turn on the air conditioning, and in the winter I would turn on the heater, and within minutes I’d be perfectly warm in my new furnace or chilled out in air conditioned bliss. But it turned out that can be a tiny bit of a mixed blessing too, because, it turned out that the HVAC unit in that building was not a perfect match for all the sizes of units and heat or cold traps that always parts of some buildings are going to have, and in the case of my unit, it would heat up so quickly that it would turn off before the heater had a chance to add moisture into the air, and my place would be really really dry in the winter as a result. So I ended up getting a small space heater and a dehumidifier. Doing this I soon had the perfect fix for when it wasn’t that cold, and when it did get really cold I would just switch to the central heating.
