I have been undoubtedly busy filling out applications for jobs.
I finished Heating, Ventilation, and A/C technical school a few weeks ago, and I have been turning in applications all over town.
Most of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies want to hire someone with experience, however I just finished school. I found a couple of locales willing to hire myself and others with no experience. I must have filled out 10 or 12 applications in the first week, but one of those applications was for a oil furnace service serviceman. They had paper applications in the store, which is much weird than some of the other Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies. Most of them wanted myself and others to fill out an application online and wait to hear back. I guess it’s better to fill out a paper application in the store, because the supplier gets to see my face and hear my voice. It’s a great way for them to remember a face with the name on the application, and a few days after I finished my job search, I received a telephone call from 1 of the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies. They wanted to call myself and others for an interview, but there was some missing information on my application. When the guy told myself and others that I forgot to enter my social security number, I was dumbfounded and flabbergasted. I could not guess I forgot to fill out 1 self-explanatory line. Luckily, the owner of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier did not enjoy the mistake and wanted to supply myself and others an chance to prove my skills. I have an interview set up on Wednesday and I hope this will be the 1.
