My mom sent me to summer time camp every year when school was finished.
I spent many weeks at camp & I l received outdoor skills like fishing, firemaking, & tote weaving.
The first year I went to summer time camp, I met lots of interesting & neat people. The minute year I went to summer time camp, a lot of my friends came back. One of my best friends & I ended up in the same lodge. There was another guy in the lodge with us & he was a bully. He was mean & rude & he got on my nerves really quickly, then my best buddy & I were resting outside the lodge 1 day when the guy walked up to us & started a fight. I wasn’t going to stand there & let the guy push us around. I stood up on the porch & I swung as tough as I could with my fist. My fist landed on the guy’s jaw & his whole head spun around. He did not expect me to hit him. The 2 of us started fighting. Both of us were rolling around on the ground & every one of us were yelling & screaming. One of the camp counselors walked by & broke up the fight. I had to go to the home office & spend all day peeling potatoes. It was seriously hot & uncomfortable inside of the home office. There was no a/c & the home office & I was stuck there all day peeling potatoes. By the time I was on the fourth bin of potatoes, sweat was dripping down my forehead & I was feeling flushed. I hated being stuck there without a/c & it was even worse to be away from my friends.
