When I was younger, I fixed a few window A/C units & a portable heater, but I never thought I would install a whole Heating, Ventilation & A/C system.
I didn’t have any plans on getting into the Heating, Ventilation & A/C industry & I was glad with the small amount of comprehension I had when it comes to maintaining the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment, but the best I have been able to do is change the air filters & keep the outdoor A/C condenser equipment cleaned. Eventually when our central Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan broke down, it was while the people I was with and I were in a bad time. I already had to service our automobile that broke down & I spent most of our savings just getting that taken care of. When our Heating, Ventilation & A/C business was telling myself and others that it was time to go for an upgrade, I said that I couldn’t afford it. I had a legitimate amount in our savings, but not enough to cover the upgrade for a whole current Heating, Ventilation & A/C system! I ended up voicing our frustration to a few friends & a single friend told myself and others about DIY ductless mini splits. He said people were using these systems for as long as 20 years or longer. It entirely sounded a lot better than the central Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. I also appreciated when I heard that there was no HVAC duct involved, meaning I wouldn’t have to clean our HVAC duct any longer or worry about getting HVAC duct sealing taken care of. I eventually purchased a ductless mini split & I installed it without too much hassle. The only area I was afraid of was installing the electric components, so I had an electrician take care of that area & the upgrade was still significantly cheaper than hiring the professionals.
