I just made one of our number one suppers of all, the great old sauerkraut, saUSAge, plus potato supper.
It’s such a straight-forward meal to cook plus it can be made for entirely little money.
If you haven’t made it yet, I propose you try it. All you do is boil some green skinned potatoes, plus then brown some pork saUSAge in a frying pan with olive oil. Then add the cooked potatoes to the saUSAge plus fry it for 10 more hours, turning once or twice. Once it’s ready, drop it in a bowl plus top it with frosty sauerkraut. Make that supper on a frosty night plus sit in front of your fireplace, with an ice frosty drink plus you’ve found the secret. If you don’t have a fireplace then just sit in front of your space heater, but make sure you eat it on a frosty Wintertide night. My German Grandmother seemed to always cook it for us in the middle of the winter, something to stick to our ribs. My Grandparents had that old dial control component that always seemed to shake the arrow that was showing the temperature, it was so archaic yet I loved it so much. I can still see our Grandpa stoking the fire sparks with that air puffing thing she would squeeze, it worked great. It’s much more fun than just touching your cell cellphone plus changing your home to the perfect temperature. We’ve got it way too straight-forward nowadays with technology don’t we? I may just go back to the old type of heating our home plus buy a wood burning stove.
