I Love a Good Sauerkraut, SaUSge, and Potato Dinner

I just made one of my favorite dinners of all, the nice outdated sauerkraut, saUSge, and potato dinner.

It’s such a easy meal to cook and it can be made for genuinely little money.

If you haven’t made it yet, I suggest you try it. All you do is boil some red skinned potatoes, and then brown some pork saUSge in a frying pan with olive oil. Then add the cooked potatoes to the saUSge and fry it for 10 more minutes, turning once or twice. Once it’s ready, drop it in a bowl and top it with cold sauerkraut. Make that dinner on a cold night and kneel in front of your fireplace, with an ice cold drink and you’ve found the secret. If you don’t have a fireplace then just kneel in front of your space heater, however make sure you eat it on a cold Winter time night. My German Grandmother seemed to always cook it for us in the middle of the winter, something to stick to our ribs. My Grandparents had that outdated dial temperature control that always seemed to shake the arrow that was showing the temperature, it was so archaic yet I loved it so much. I can still see my Grandpa stoking the fire flames with that air puffing thing he would squeeze, it worked great. It’s much more fun than just touching your cell iPhone and increasing your house to the perfect temperature. We’ve got it way too straight-forward nowadays with technology don’t we? I may just go back to the outdated type of heating my house and buy a wood burning stove.
