Going to the zoo is one of my favorite things to do.
I go in the spring, the fall, and even in the winter when the temperature outside gets pretty cold.
I just can’t stand going to the zoo when the temperatures are too hot, though. When the summer weather starts heating up, that’s when I turn in my zoo membership for the summer. I would rather just stay at home in the nice cool air conditioning. I wish that there were more buildings at the zoo with A/C, but I guess that besides the penguins and the polar bears, most of the animals don’t really like the cold. Every time I try to go to the zoo in the summer, I end up hanging out in the restaurant and the gift shop because those are the only areas that have air conditioning. And of course, there’s really no reason to go to the zoo to just hang out in the restaurant and the gift shop. However, I get really tired of visiting the polar bears and the penguins, but I really hate being hot. I guess I’m not the only one who hates being without air conditioning, though. The guy at the zoo office told me that their number of visitors goes down every year in the summer. I think that they should just put portable cooling stations around the zoo so that people can cool off every now and then. I would definitely go there when the temperatures are higher if I could only cool off in the A/C once in a while.
