I love living in St, Petersburg

I love the ribs and it doesn’t matter if they are smoked or grilled

In the 1870’s, the railroad industry was just entering into the Pinellas County, Florida area. Pinellas County is one of the largest counties in Florida and when the railroad industry started, so was St. Petersburg originated. St. Petersburg is now one of the most populated cities in the entire state of Florida. In the 1960’s, St. Petersburg was given the title of Sun City. This was because they were able to set a new record of 690 consecutive days of sunshine. This beat the Guinness World Record. In March, St Petersburg is the host city to the annual Firestone Grand Prix. The Firestone Grand Prix is the first race in the Indycar series. This is a three day long event of qualification, practice rounds and the actual racing event. There are many events that are held yearly in St. Petersburg, FL. One major event is the Dr. Martin Luther King jr. Parade, which is held in January each year. Every March, St. Petersburg is proud to host the annual Firestone Grand Prix. This is the first race in the Indycar series. Two other big events are held in Vinoy Park and they are the Mainsail Art Festival and the Blues Fest. The annual RibFest is also held in Vinoy Park and this is one of my favorite events. There is nothing better than biting into a succulent piece of meat. I love the ribs and it doesn’t matter if they are smoked or grilled. There are different vendors and all of them have their own sweet and smoky sauce that only adds to elevate the flavor. St Petersburg may be a good place to visit, but I think it is an even better place to live, work and play.
