I would have to be the first one to admit that I spoil my dog! I even spoil the dog more than I spoil my children.
I think a lot of people don’t really get it, however my dog loves me with an unconditional love that I’ve never gotten anywhere else.
Anyway, I’ve recently been fighting with my son about the fact that I want to install a heating and a/c unit in the doghouse in the backyard. I just can’t help but worry about my little fluffy baby when the weather is too hot outside. I guess he needs to have his own little air conditioning unit installed in his dog house so he won’t get too hot. He doesn’t like it when the temperature outside gets to be over 73 degrees or so, and I think that he will greatly love having his own a/c, but my son says that I am a complete nutjob for even thinking about installing a heating and cooling device out there, especially for my dog. He even intimated that I love the dog more than I love him. When he said that, I just looked at him and told him that my dog never yells at me about HVAC issues. He didn’t like that much, either. Anyway, even though it might be spoiling my dog, I’m still going to push ahead and have my local heater and air conditioning supplier come and install the air conditioning unit in the doghouse. I guess my son thinks that I’m spending his inheritance or something. At least I still haven’t told him about the dog sized gas logs and the fireplace I’m thinking of installing in the dog house next!
