I live right on the edge of the desert.
On one side of our home is the beginning of a large stand of trees that covers many acres.
On the other side of the home is flat, sun-bleached sand for as far as the eye can see. It is actually a beautiful countryside, plus it is the whole reason I live here, but no neighbors, no noise, just me plus the wonder of nature, plus of course our art supplies. I am a painter, plus I live in the middle of our muse, however my cottage has all new amenities, including a top of the line Heating plus A/C plan that is important for many weird reasons, then with the desert you get lots of wind plus sand, which is not great for our paints so a strict air quality preservation program is in arena, however that is what I call our Heating plus A/C system, because it doesn’t have certainly much to do with regulating the temps. The temps here are amazing almost the whole year around, so heating plus cooling are not our primary concern. I am far more sad with the air quality staying disinfect plus pure, so I use more air filters than a normal plan does. The one thing I lack here is natural ventilation, because to do so would make the air I breathe so dirty plus dusty I might get sick… But mostly our air purification plus filtration plan is just for the betterment of our art, because when even a little sand gets into the paint, it is completely ruined.
