I was watching a television show where the police officers were booting cars so they couldn’t be moved.
I sat there thinking how nice it would be if I were able to boot my husband.
Ever since he had been working for this new HVAC company, he was never home. I would love to be able to boot him so he couldn’t move and have him home with me for awhile. The HVAC company has had him doing all kinds of shifts. He is constantly doing the emergency calls and he is to the point where he doesn’t even tell me he is leaving anymore. I was really concerned that he was having an affair with someone. I talked to him about his slowing down but he told me he was the newest guy in the company. He was afraid that if he didn’t do everything they asked of him, he wouldn’t have a job and he really wanted to be the best HVAC tech there was so he could have his own HVAC company. I had known that his dream to have his own HVAC company had been a part of him when I married him. I couldn’t stop him from doing his best to fulfill his dream, but I also couldn’t have a husband that was never home. I asked him if he could just talk to his boss and remind him that we were still newlyweds. After talking to his boss, my husband told me that he was only going to be on call every other weekend. He told my husband that he was one of the best HVAC techs he had and he didn’t want to risk losing him because he had an unhappy wife.
