Being a gardener meant that most of our time, I was laboring outside, but i no longer minded the heat and humidity and when I got home, I seldom used the air conditioning.
- I knew our family and friends didn’t come to the beach house particularly often, unless it was Winter time or a cool day, but they couldn’t lay being in our beach beach house separate from the air conditioning; My Dad constantly complained about the humidity and how she upset about our health; She was afraid i would die from heat exhaustion, but I drank a lot of water, and I particularly didn’t mind the heat.
It wasn’t until I met this attractive girl and fell in love that I considered purchasing central air conditioning. She seldom came to our home, but I stayed at her apartment often. I would shiver when the air conditioning was on, but I never complained, but after she agreed to marry me, I knew I had to make some changes. She was going to be moving into the beach house I owned. I talked to her about central air conditioning, and she gave me an strange look. She wanted to know why I wanted to put central air conditioning into the house? I told her I wanted to do it so she could be comfortable. After stating that was balderdash, she told me she would get used to the heat in our house, or every one of us could put a small window air conditioning in a single room she could use as an office, since she worked from home. I knew there was more than a single reason I fell in love with her.
I worked outside, and the lack of air conditioning did not bother me.
