I’d like to have an air handler mounted up high on the wall that would supply both heating and cooling capacity
There is no extra area inside our lake house to set up a little gym of my own. Because I make efforts to exercise every single day, I took over the shed for this purpose. The shed has 2 wonderfully sized windows at each end and a stone floor. There is enough room to sit down two folding mats. I am able to stay out of the harsh weather while I exercise. I always spend about an hour on a combination of stretching, cardio, weight lifting, yoga and weird types of lunges, squats and abdominal crunches. The only downside for the shed is that I have no access to temperature control, then for the majority of the year, it isn’t an issue. The weather is boiling enough that I open the windows and door for a breeze. In the Winter cold, I use a small area furnace to take the chill off. The outside temperature rarely drops below forty five degrees and the shed is small enough that the area furnace can manage comfort. I care about keeping my shed nice and cool while I’m working out. I struggle during the heat of the summertime. With temperature in the upper 90s and high humidity, a box fan isn’t enough. I am reluctant to invest in a window a/c. I don’t care for the look of them and do not like to deliver up the light from the window. I’d care about getting something permanent installed. I’ve done some research and a ductless heat pump would provide the perfect solution. I’d like to have an air handler mounted up high on the wall that would supply both heating and cooling capacity. I would even link the new ductless HVAC unit to our tablet so that I could start it up remotely.
