The summer time of 2020 was a major tipping point of sorts for me.
It actually came down to whether or not I was ready and willing to do whatever it took in order to save my business.
Of course, this was all due to the COVID19 pandemic. By the summer, me and the boys had all been working remotely from our own central air conditioner, and going back to our zone controlled Heating & A/C of the office suite was for sure not happening for a while. I wasn’t paying myself anything in order to continue paying my team while also having to pay the lease all our office with that commercial Heating & A/C. Still, we all seemed to not be able to take care of our clients the way both of us wanted to. Normally, myself and a few other people would fly to locations where our clients were in order to supply services or close deals. Now Nobody was flying while I was in the pandemic from our group. So it actually came down to me packing my car, turning on the air conditioner and getting out on the road. That was actually the only way I knew that I could keep this business going. It was for sure tough to leave my fiance for what ended up being weeks out on the highway. But I stayed out and put a lot of miles on sizzling interstate roads with the air conditioner cranked down every single day. But at night, I was so pleased to always find great commercial Heating & A/C in interstate hotels along the way. That made a big difference just having that terrific Heating & A/C system to unwind each night.
