Last year we were struggling pretty bad and our HVAC system was having troubles.
We ended up getting enough money together where we could have upgraded our HVAC system but we would have been in trouble if we faced any other costly issues.
My wife said that we should just have the HVAC system repaired and try to save up money to get a new HVAC system the following year. She made a good decision because the repair wasn’t as expensive as a new HVAC system. We actually did run into another emergency issue with our roof. One of the vents had damage from one of the storms and it was leaking. We had to pay for the emergency roof repair and we wouldn’t have been able to do that if we had purchased the new HVAC system last year. Now this year, we finally have a good amount of money saved again where we can go for the new HVAC. Of course, our HVAC system hasn’t been struggling too much since the last repair and we are just going to get the upgrade when it breaks down again. If it keeps going by the fall season though, we might just get the replacement taken care of so we won’t have any issues getting through the winter season. I would hate to have to have emergency HVAC services because those cost a small fortune. I would rather be safe than sorry, so I’m thinking definitely the fall will be the time when we get this HVAC system upgrade. I’m really just trying to think about the best type of HVAC system to get.
