I finally woke up last week, and I was sure I was running a high fever.
I was so hot that it was all I could do to breathe.
I woke my partner and told him I couldn’t breathe. He told me to turn the air conditioner on, but then he got fully awake. Then he noticed how hot it was in the house, and the furnace was still running. He went downstairs, and but he tried to turn the control unit off, nothing happened. He thought it was the control unit, but he was distraught it could be the furnace. I asked him if he was going to call the heating and air conditioning dealer. It was late at 2 AM and if the heating and air conditioning worker came out now, it would cost us double for the emergency and after hours service called. He asked if I was sure I could get through the evening as hot as it was. I asked him if he would be all right. My pal and I opened the study room window and settled back into bed. An hour later, the furnace was still running, and it was heating the cool air as hastily as it came in through the window. My partner threw the covers on the floor, and tried to go back to sleep, but it was useless. He called the heating and air conditioning company and told them my great friend and I needed an actual heating and air conditioning worker as soon as he could get there. He told them to bring an up-to-date control unit, because he was sure that was the problem, but if it was the furnace, he definitely wanted to be prepared.
