It's what my dad would have wanted

My amazing father just died.

I just observed that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C clicked on again.

It feels a bit surreal in all honesty, but I know that would be typical. The people I was with and I were close, especially the last numerous years. He was a very gentle person and a real difficult ass all at once. I have always appreciate all the ways he was because he was quite unique . So, he left myself and others his house. This was an honestly unexpected turn of events. There was no way I was expecting anything more than a solid hug from our dad. He was constantly there in a pinch but he was no charity. I can always respect that. Now, I am to decide whether I want to live in that beach house or not. The thing needs to be worked on. First thing to go is the seasoned heating and cooling methods. This beach house was built in the late 30’s and is a subtle masterpiece. It will sit for the rest of time. But the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C is basically nonexistent based on today’s standards. There is this giant boiler in the basement for some warmth. I prefer that type of heat but, the costs are not sustainable. Along with that, there is basically no air conditioning. I guess that there are around four window units in the house. They were only turned on while I was in the most humid weeks of the year. So, I decided to meet with a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation to see what our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C possibilities are. I understand that the newer technologies allow for some basic, yet effective heating and cooling plans, then perhaps just getting the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C information will help myself and others get close to a decision on what to do with the house. It is a cool beach house and I could totally see myself residing there. Thank you so much Dad.
