Lake house redesign

About 3 years back, my partner plus I moved down south.

Him and I purchased a small house located on the water.

Him and I were glad to have a white sand beach right outside our back door. Sadly, the house was a complete mess. The previous owners had not only failed to keep up with typical replaces plus basic repair, they left behind a lot of damage. There was water damage to the roof, holes in the walls, cracked windows plus most of the appliances didn’t work. My husband plus I were eager to tackle the project. Him and I pretty much gutted the entire house down to the floor joists, rafters and studs. Next we were left with a wide open empty space plus a vague idea of how to move forward. Our goal was to create a casual plus welcoming environment that showed lake-style residing. With sand getting pushed in, the two of us couldn’t have rugs. Because of the expansive windows plus glare of the sun, the two of us needed some type of light-blocking drapes. I called an interior designer to help us out. The interior designer partnered with a custom furniture store plus together the two of us created a plan. The people I was with and I decided to spruce the lake house in shades of yellow with accents of white. Because all of the furniture plus drapes were made from scratch plus to our particularations, everything blends nicely. Plus, every item is of the highest quality plus able to withstand everyday use.
