My child is only eight years old, however she is smart.
She often watches me when I am working on the air conditioner unit.
I am an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist and a good one. I have no problem working on our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment and letting my child watch. My wifey called me last weekand was telling me there was something wrong with the air conditioner. I told her I would look at it when I got home, however I had a full schedule. She told me it could wait, although she wanted me to know she had a honey-do list for me when I got there. At the top of the list, was the air conditioner unit. It was the only thing on the list. When I got home, my child was out back looking in the air conditioner unit. She pulled the cover off the air conditioner and was perfectly mimicking my movements as she looked inside. I stood in the living room with my wifey, seeing him moved around. I watched him get down on her haunches and she pulled out a screwdriver. That’s when I went outside She told me she was pretty sure there was a problem with the fan motor. She watched it try to turn on when the air conditioner equipment came on, however nothing happened with the fan blades. She wanted to turn off the power to the air conditioner unit, however Dad said she had to wait for me to get home. It surprised me to know her diagnosis was accurate. I was easily proud to know she easily was seeing and listening when she was outside.
