I have been struggling with my current roommate, plus I am not sure how long I will be able to get along with him before I am going to have to move.
I am thankful that he doesn’t do drugs, drink, or invite plus bad friends over, but still, there is the pleasedion that will make this relationship deteriorate unless the people I was with and I figure out how to compromise.
The concern is that the people I was with and I have completely bizarre thoughts on how the control component should be set. I recognize that all control units should be set at a moderate temperature, but no matter what the season is, the control component should regularly be at 71 degrees. This means that while in all seasons, I have either my air conditioner or my oil furnace laboring to keep the house at the perfect temperature. I have a control component that controls both the oil furnace plus the cooling system so that it can turn either on depending on the need. I wish that my roommate were more moderate in his approach to temperature. He believes that everything should be cold in the house, but during the summer, the air conditioner is running at the highest temperature to keep the home cold cold, plus while in the Winter time weeks, he barely wants to use the oil furnace to heat the house. All of us have tried to discuss the problem, but the people I was with and I have resorted to just resetting the control component when each other is not looking. I want to find a compromise with the Heating plus A/C units so that the people I was with and I can both be thrilled, but I am not sure that he is willing to budge even a little. I might have to just transport out.
