My energy bill is higher than my coworkers

Last month, I spoke with my female coworker about our weekly heating and cooling utility bills, and she was shocked at the amount, even though our Winterized condo was slightly bigger than hers was. She suggested to me that I should change our heating and cooling equipment, and install a new Heating and Air Conditioning unit such as a smart thermostat for our electrical baseboard heater. She has a similar unit in her house, and it saves her lots of energy cost by turning off heating in rooms not in use. I also had unoccupied rooms in our house. Unlike her, I kept these rooms heated all day long, which led to a waste of energy. She referred me to her Heating and Air Conditioning professional, who installed a smart thermostat to our electrical baseboard heater. I am impressed by how efficient the smart thermostat technology works to lower our heating cost. We linked the smart thermostat to our home WIFI, allowing me to control our home’s heating remotely. I can switch our electric baseboard furnace on and off in unoccupied rooms preventing energy wastes. Additionally, the smart thermostat is programmable and can be set to suit the afternoon’s increasing weather patterns, but my older baseboard oil furnace model relied on a mechanical thermostat. It was imprecise and unclear on several occasions. A smart thermostat is efficient and gives precise temperature readings. I also don’t have to lift a finger to adjust our home’s temperature since the Heating and Air Conditioning system allows me to control it with voice commands. Indeed, a smart thermostat for an electric baseboard heater for home use is a superb investment. My husband and I can heat up our Winterized condo in preparation for our arrival so we avoid walking into an icebox and being uncomfortable.
