My gym is also a school for wrestlers

For eight years I worked the state circuit as a professional wrestler.

I know what you might be thinking, that it’s all fake and a big scam, but you would only be half right about that.

I remember one time I was at a bar and a drunk guy started messing with me. He was slurring his words about how wrestlers are all actors, it’s all faked for the cameras, and he could probably take me. Long story short, he couldn’t take me. After I whipped his butt in front of the whole bar I handed out cards to promote my personal gym and pro wrestling training school. Basically the gym is just a gym, the only thing that makes it a pro wrestling academy is the old wrestling ring I have in the barn out back. I make my living selling gym memberships to the locals and keeping my equipment in good working order. From time to time I will get someone who wants to be schooled in the ways of pro wrestling, so I have been offering wrestling as one of my exercise classes. They have to pay me as a personal trainer, at which point I give them an intensive program to prepare them for taking bumps in the ring. Wrestling starts with good fitness, great cardio, and good flexibility, so I use a wide blend of exercise styles and work out regimens. After a few weeks in the gym I finally let the guys get into the ring to start doing some moves, which is all they really care about.
