My neighbors are a family of four, two parents and two kids.
They have always been really kind to me. During the holidays, the kids bake cookies for me and they always send me fun cards in the mail. When their oldest son turned 17, he started doing yard work for a lot of the homes in the neighborhood. I always liked him, so I decided to hire him to cut my grass. I was so impressed with his work ethic and responsibility, so I started hiring him for other household chores. When my ductwork needed to be cleaned, I debated asking him to clean them or asking an HVAC professional. On one hand, my neighbor could use the money and he never let me down with any of the other work he’d done. However, I didn’t know much about HVAC systems, but I knew they could be tricky and one complication could send my HVAC system to the grave. I knew hiring the HVAC professional was the responsible thing to do, but I really wanted to see if my neighbor could handle it. When I asked him if he’d be interested in cleaning my ductwork, he agreed and was willing to start that afternoon. I showed him how to get to the ductwork and made sure he had all the cleaning supplies he’d need. When he was finally finished cleaning, I went to examine his work and I was shocked to see how sparkling clean my ductwork was! I’ve been recommending him to everyone I know now!
