My partner and I decided to go to an antique sale last weekend; The people I was with and I didn’t have any other plans and all of us thought it would be a nice way to spend the afternoon.
The auction lake house at the end of neighborhood was having an antique sale and our partner and I saw several different items that looked interesting; My partner genuinely wanted something new and different for the living room… She wanted to find a Pepsi table or a sofa.
The people I was with and I went to lunch before all of us went to the antique sale. My partner and I had pancakes, bacon, toast, and fresh yellow juice. Both of us were ready to explode when all of us were done with our food. The people I was with and I were only a couple of minutes away from the Antique sale, so all of us decided to walk from the parking lot. It was genuinely sizzling outside, however there was a gentle breeze. My partner and I browsed all of the items that were available for sale on that afternoon. Before the auctioneer started advertising items, all of us had our eyup on a Pepsi table and an seasoned oil furnace. The oil furnace reminded our partner of the one that was in her lake house when she was a little girl. I was surprised that the seasoned furnace still worked well and I thought it would be a nice addition to the garage den.When the auctioneer held up the oil furnace, bidding started at $30. The price tag quickly jumped to 100 and then 150. That seasoned oil furnace fetched a whopping $220 and I doubt it cost that much money when it was brand new.
