My sister Missy seems to think that she will be able to live through the summer without an air conditioning system, but I don’t think that she will be able to. She’s always been super spoiled and whiny about things like being too hot. Whenever we were kids growing up at home with our parents, she was always so annoying during the summer when the outside temperatures were hot. I remember her throwing a temper tantrum once during the summer because my parents wouldn’t turn the thermostat settings down to the temperature that she wanted! I always thought that she was ridiculous when it came to stuff like that. I just wasn’t ever as whiny about things as my sister always was. Anyway, she hated it in the summer whenever the central air conditioning wasn’t turned down below seventy degrees or somewhere around there. It was always funny to see her fighting with my parents about it. So now that she is living on her own, she seems to think that in order to save money, she’s going to be able to live in this new apartment without air conditioning through the whole summer. I told her that she was crazy. I know that there is just no way that she will be able to live through the heat of the summer around here without air conditioning. She says that she has grown up and changed but I have my doubts. I just don’t think that she will make it through the end of August without an air conditioning system in that apartment.
