I live with some roommates that are very strict when it comes to the temperature control settings in the household.
So I decided to purchase a nice window A/C unit so that I don’t have to roast to death in the summer months.
I was happy because the window A/C unit came with a convenient remote control. I was always content with studying and adjusting the temperature control settings without walking over to my window A/C unit. Then one day, my remote control disappeared mysteriously. I asked my roommates about the missing remote and everybody acted like they had no clue what happened to it. Then I purchased a replacement remote for my window A/C unit. I wasn’t happy that I had to spend the money to do that, but I was grateful to be able to adjust the temperature control settings remotely again. I also hooked up a locator device to my remote so that I could make it beep and would be able to find it easily if I lost it. Then again, my remote control went missing. When I hit the beep button to locate the remote, I heard the beeping noise coming from my roommate’s room. I stormed in there and found that not only did he take my remote, but he had the other one as well! I told him that if he messed with any of my things again, I was going to beat the living crap out of him. He told me to relax and I told him that nobody gets away with messing with my things.
