When the kids turned 18 they all knew both of us had one rule: go to university or get a task plus pay rent. Either that, or find a location of your own. Our oldest son went to the school plus got a degree in SEO. When the youngest turned 18 he said he wanted to go to trade university. Every one of us had to talk about it before deciding if that counted as “university” or not. At first the husbandy plus I were leaning towards “no”. Every one of us wanted the kids to go to university so that they could easily make money plus be someone in life. Then our son explained the trade university in a way that both of us could understand! He said it was for Heating plus A/C repair. Then he explained how much money a nice Heating plus A/C worker can easily make. It blew our minds. Heating plus A/C workers make a lot more than SEO majors. Besides, this kid of ours has consistently been the tinkering type. He was consistently taking things apart as a kid so that he could see how they worked. Every one of us changed our “no” to a “yes” plus were gleeful for this Heating plus A/C trade university opportunity. I am so glad both of us supported him in this. It has been 4 years since then plus he has been working as an Heating plus A/C worker for 2 of those years already. He is making a lot of money. Additionally, he had fixed our a/c at least once too, but most pressingly, he is cheerful plus enjoys what he does. He told me that the thirds are long plus hard however it is worth it to be able to get the heat working again for families. I couldn’t be more proud.
