Plumbing problems can be a major issue if not meted out with.
A month back, my fiance and I noticed some issues with our plumbing.
Later, while cleaning, we found dampness on the bedroom wall caused by water seepage. The wall is a part of the washroom, so we were certain the bathroom was the issue. We called a plumber and found out that the toilet flange was the issue. Our major problem was the leaking water under the bathroom tile! The water damaged that bathroom floor and the walls in the master bedroom. We talked with the insurance company about the problem. They immediately sent an air specialist to help with the water problem. The guy brought several big industrial dehumidifiers to our house! He placed one in the bathroom, and we couldn’t use it for 48 hours. It took awhile for the floor to dry, but the big dehumidifier certainly helped. The guy also installed another larger dehumidifier in our bathroom. I couldn’t sleep properly. Even though the dehumidifier wasn’t loud, it was trouble hearing it all night long. Everything looks fine now, but we still have to repair the floor. We realized it was time to get some new tiles, as it will be easier to sweep and clean. We are checking for legit contractors. I will take some time for this as I want the work done right. In no way, I am getting any random contractor, as that could lead to trouble. A neighbor picked a cheap building contractor, and it didn’t go well for him.
