Plumbing issues can cause a lot of damage to the household. Last week, we discovered some issues with the plumbing. Later, we came across some damage due to water leakage within the bedroom wall, when we were cleaning. The wall backs up to our bathroom, so we were sure it was an issue in the bathroom. We called a plumber when we found out that the toilet flange malfunctioned. However, our problem was the leaking water under the bathroom tile, which caused water seepage in the bathroom and the master bedroom. I immediately called the insurance company to talk about the problem. They promptly sent an air specialist to help with the water damage. The person brought two large industrial dehumidifiers to our place. He set up one dehumidifier in the bathroom, and we couldn’t use the bathroom for two days. It took awhile for the floor to dry, but the large dehumidifier was much needed. The guy installed the other one in our bathroom. I couldn’t sleep well! Even though the dehumidifier wasn’t loud, it was frustrating to hear that all night long. Everything looks fine now, but we still have to repair the damage to the floor. We are trying to get some tiles this time, which will be easier to sweep, dust, and scrub. The two of us are currently looking for reliable contractors. I want to take my time as I want the job to be done perfectly. I do not want to pick any random contractor and end up in trouble. A close friend went for a cheap building contractor, which cost him a lot of money and time.
