Although the summer seasons in my local area tend to be fairly short, we often get temperatures in the upper eighties.
The heat and humidity combine and make for a very uncomfortable house.
When the house becomes overheated and sticky, it’s impossible to get comfortable or enjoy a good night’s sleep. I spend the day sweaty and miserable. I finally decided to buy a couple of portable air conditioners. I was able to get a top-of-the line model for less than two hundred dollars. The units are wonderfully lightweight and compact. I was able to install them quickly and easily. I situated the equipment in the window frame, plugged it in and started it up. I was amazed by the powerful cooling provided by such a small piece of equipment. The window air conditioner quickly cools down the entire room and can handle even the most extreme summer weather. It operates quietly and offers effective air filtration. Because of the air conditioner, the room stays much cleaner. I like that I can make adjustments through a cordless remote. I don’t need to get out of bed to raise or lower temperature. I can also cater the fan speed to my preference. Since investing in the portable air conditioners, my home is way more comfortable and I sleep so much better at night.
