My child has been entirely enjoying her Senior year in High School. I can’t suppose it is almost over and she will be off to university before I guess it. The final event for the year is the Prom. Every girl dreams of the perfect evening with her friends and her special guy. My child is no different. Every one of us shopped for weeks for the perfect dress, shoes and hair stylist. Things were going great and then the university sent out a text saying that the location had to be moved because the hall they had rented had a pipe burst. The place was flooded and the prom was being relocated to a facility down our the water. That seemed ok until all of us realized that it was an open air place and there would be no Heating, Ventilation and A/C plan in place. Every one of us live in the Northeast and even though it was May the weather can still be downright cold; Couple that with the fact that the kids would be down on the waterfront and it just spelled disaster. My daughter’s dress is strapless and I had a feeling that she would be freezing freezing all evening. I called a few parents and they were all having the same troubles. One of the dads came up with the system of renting those patio furnaces for the space and contacted a local Heating, Ventilation and A/C rental place and all of us arranged for them to be dropped off before the kids arrived. This made all the difference in the world and entirely saved the evening. It entirely was a evening to remember for our child and all of her friends.
