School sucked

I can’t think of anything that I really liked about going to high school.

I enjoyed learning, but I really hated the school itself.

It didn’t matter where you were in the school, it was either too hot or too cold. You could just be going across the hall and it was like walking into a different climate. The heating and air conditioning was so bad that nowhere in the school had the same temperature. I told my dad that when I graduated, I wanted to go to school to become an HVAC technician. One of my first priorities after graduation was to go back to the high school and improve upon the HVAC system so other kids didn’t suffer like I did. I applied to the technical school and I got a class for HVAC certification. I was fascinated with the technology of heating, ventilation and air conditioning. I gained a huge interest in automated HVAC. I couldn’t believe that with a computer, you could connect to an HVAC system in a building and it would only take one person to monitor the HVAC system. If there was a problem, they simply called the HVAC crew and they would be able to quickly fix it either in the building, or remotely. I took added classes on HVAC building automation and I started my own HVAC company that specializes in HVAC automation. I then petitioned the School Board for an audience so I could discuss automating the HVAC system in the school district. They seemed to be interested in all I was saying about an automated HVAC system, but they still had to discuss the cost of its installation.
