When you work all day for years as a certified heating and air conditioning specialist, you pretty much are prepared for anything. However, the other week I had to do an HVAC repair job that I was not exactly prepared for. This was possibly one of the most complicated and hard heat and a/c system repairs I ever encountered in my 25 years on the job! It seemed like this heating and air conditioning system repair was going nowhere and getting nowhere fast. I must have spent at least 4 hours trying to get this one resident’s central heating and air conditioning system back up and running. It seemed more like years! This is how hard it was. In the end, I was able to get it back and going again. The customer was very impressed with my work as they said that they had called another heating and air conditioning contractor before me, and they were telling them that they needed a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. They knew that it probably could be fixed otherwise, and they were right. But man oh man was it hard as ever! I nearly gave them the same answer of having to buy a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. I really hope I do not have any HVAC repair work this complicated any time in the near future. This HVAC repair here was enough to make me want to retire now!
