Tonight Eve will go watch the sunset with her buddy, but she won’t stay out there too long because it is frigid out and the wind is blowing so much and making it even colder.
Eve believes the wind chill is negative now, and they can’t stay out there too long or they will risk getting frostbite. It is hard to think that Eve went swimming in the chilly sea earlier when the temp weren’t as low. It was 40F out when she went in the 59F sea. Warming up next to her hydronic space heating system is a must after she takes her warm bath for 25 minutes. Eve’s feet and hands are pretty much numb by the time she gets home from the dip and getting them warm again is a priority when she gets back home. She has a good central furnace to warm her condo, and Eve loves to have some added heat by turning on the radiant heated floors for an hour. Her feet kind of ache when they are chilly so she always walks around with thick wool socks to keep the heat in them during winter. Eve runs her Heating, Ventilation and A/C heating for 3 hours in the afternoon then she turns it off at night because she loves to sleep in a chilly room. They say the best sleeping temp for humans is about 76 F and Eve bets her room is maybe a bit colder than that in the night time.
