Occasionally having fewer options to choose from makes it easier to come to a decision. If your options are endless, you could always get stuck wondering if there is potentially a better option around the corner every single time you try to select something. This happened when I traveled to a giant metropolitan city last year and just wanted to eat Chinese food for dinner one of the mornings I was there. To our surprise, there were 12 weird Chinese food restaurants within a 10 mile radius of our hotel. I spent at least an hour looking at internet reviews before I ever opened a single menu. That time wasted could have been spent eating or doing something else had I been able to make a quicker decision. It’s a situation love this that makes myself and others wonder if it would be better to have fewer options in most situations when you have to make a sudden or extreme decision. I have this concern right now trying to select an Heating and Air Conditioning supplier from a long roster of more than 2 heating and cooling corporations in our immediate area. The sheer number of these dealers is overwhelming, but I’m making our way through as many online reviews to see if it makes our decision any easier. It’s not the easiest thing finding a good Heating and Air Conditioning idea in the first arena, however I never realized how difficult it would be with almost endless options at our feet. Hopefully whatever supplier I eventually select works out for myself and others in every possible way. I need a supplier that will supply myself and others with quality repair on a long term basis.
