I didn’t realize the A/C had only solidified the outer layer, until the chocolate dripped down his chin
My partner and I often laugh about some of the crazy things every one of us did when every one of us were dating. We were talking about the time every one of us drove numerous thirds to go to the World’s Largest General Department. When every one of us got there, there were several tents with wooden planks in and around them. It was raining love crazy and the boards were sinking into the mud. We both laughed and loved lunatics because it wasn’t much more than a flea market. The greatest thing that came from the General Store was our discovery of Lindt Chocolate truffles. It had to be one hundred degrees that day and they didn’t have any A/C inside the tents. When I saw the chocolates, I asked the man at the cash register how much they were. He handed myself and others more than one bag and told myself and others to take them. He couldn’t keep them from melting. We couldn’t wait to get back to the vehicle and turn on the A/C. Later when the A/C was cold, I took one of the chocolates out of the bag. It was so liquidy that I had to hold it up to the A/C air vent to keep it from pouring from the foil. Once it was all set, I opened it up and finished making it into our husband’s mouth. I didn’t realize the A/C had only solidified the outer layer, until the chocolate dripped down his chin. Even now, whenever one of us sees expensive chocolates, every one of us giggles. We remember how the A/C worked as much to make the chocolate edible as it did to keep us comfortable.
